How many libraries does Welland have? If you answered two (The Welland Public Library Main Branch and Diamond Trail Branch), you’re wrong! There are now THREE libraries in Welland!

The Niagara Region Helping Green Elfs have registered the newest Little Free Library, right here in Welland at 1 Bishop Road, facing Churchill Road.

Little Free Library has 20,000 little libraries in 70 countries and describes the initiative as:

It’s a “take a book, return a book” gathering place where neighbors share their favorite literature and stories. In its most basic form, a Little Free Library is a box full of books where anyone may stop by and pick up a book (or two) and bring back another book to share. You can, too!

Way to go, ELFS!
